Project Description
An innovative life vest designed to provide the highest level of safety for all members of society: the visually impaired, non-swimmers, children, and even those who feel anxious or hesitant about entering the water.
The vest combines modern technologies with practical safety solutions to make the sea experience safer and more reassuring. It features:

1-Emergency Function: A rescue button that, when pressed, sends a message to the coast guard with the exact location and water temperature, while also activating a loud alarm to alert nearby people.

2-Shark-Repelling Function: A system designed to keep sharks away, currently under development to expand and repel a wider range of marine species (this feature is still in progress).

3- Distance Sensor Function: A smart sensor that detects obstacles in front and behind the wearer and triggers an alarm to ensure awareness and safety.

Additional Notes:

I would like to note that this project initially started as a course project. We are now working within the (CEIES) incubator at King Abdulaziz University to develop it into a distinguished entrepreneurial project. Our team consists of six members under the name ‘Wathiq,’ and we are working on turning the idea into an innovative startup.
