Project Description

The Smart Stoma Pouch is an innovative solution designed to address common issues faced by ostomy bag users. Ostomy bags are essential for individuals who have undergone surgeries like colostomies, ileostomies, or urostomies, but they often present discomfort and safety concerns. Gas buildup can cause the bag to inflate, poorly cut openings can lead to leaks and skin irritation, and narrow-ended bags are difficult to empty. Additionally, many users struggle to measure and track their waste.
